"The biggest gift music gives me is, is a channel for me to help others and to serve others. It's interesting when I've started my own fronting my own trio, playing my own music and running it. I get really uncomfortable in that and I kind of do it for the reason that I'm trying to grow in that way a little bit more, but me at my happiest and my most feeling of fulfilled the most is when I'm standing behind an artist that I really, really believe in and really want to give something to, and I'm able to play something that makes them feel safe and supported on stage to then transport into a room of people who were really moved by it. Being apart of that experience where I can provide a service to someone else or to an audience as well; I just get blown away... Some people come up to me after a show and say how moved they were, to even sometimes it might be just to see a female guitarists on stage... Or sometimes they might point out something that I did that they loved. And to me, that's when I'm at my most happiest, when I'm able to actually do something for others, with music and music is the best way that I can come up with that..."
